COLORADO SPRINGS – Now in his 18th season, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady does not experience many things for the first time. However, Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders will be one of those times.
“I’ve never been to Mexico City, it’s great that it’s here,” Brady said after the team’s last training at the Air Force Academy.
“When the calendar was announced and I discovered where I was going to play, this is the kind of game to expect, to play against a really good football team in a very good atmosphere, so it will be memorable, I think everyone is excited.”

Brady has taken note of how football fans in Mexico have responded. “They were very involved last year, I remember seeing it, and I watched a bit this week to get a sense of what the atmosphere will be,” he said. “They cheer all the way through the game, and there seems to be a lot of Raiders fans in. I hope there are a lot of Patriots fans, too, it will be really great.”
