Once can be chance, but twice can be trend.
And in the case of Andy Reid, I’m afraid he is. Personally, I’ve been a fan of the current Chiefs coach – although I was never convinced by his handling of the clock throughout his career – but there are not many ways to defend him after what happened last Saturday.
The Kansas City Chiefs were dominating at their pleasure, and we even wondered why the difference against the Tennessee Titans was not greater.
There seemed to be only one team on the field, until the complement started.
The Chiefs were winning by 18 points at the end of the first half, and inexplicably they stopped running the ovoid despite having the rushing rusher in the regular season.
