Ben Roethlisberger hopes to continue at least three more years with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to center Maurkice Pouncey, who is his best friend on the team.
“He told us three years (more),” Pouncey told ESPN during the Pro Bowl week. “He said he wants to end his contract, so we’ll see.”

When told that only a couple of campaigns were left to Roethlisberger in his current contract, Pouncey replied with a smile: “That’s even better because I also have two left.”
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported last week that “Big Ben” confided to his teammates that he has three years remaining, although he has publicly limited himself to the upcoming campaign in order not to disrespect or “lie” to the process.
His contract, which he signed in 2015, gives him 21.8 million dollars on average per season, according to the site.
“I’m under contract this year and that’s the only thing that matters to me,” Roethlisberger responded on the subject.
